About Me

Hi, I’m Samantha—artist, mother, wife, and storyteller at heart.

I was born on the Fourth of July, which feels fitting - a day that celebrates freedom, gratitude, and the beauty of living with purpose. I was raised in the wide-open prairies of North Dakota, where the skies stretch endlessly and stories are passed down through generations. Today, I call Kansas home, surrounded by my family and the quiet strength of the Midwest—a place that continues to shape my art and my purpose.

My journey as an artist is deeply personal. After losing my first husband to cancer, I found myself navigating grief, motherhood, and the aching question of what comes next. In those quiet, uncertain spaces, I returned to something I’ve always known: creating with my hands, layering beauty into blank spaces, and letting emotion live on the canvas.

Art became more than an outlet—it became a way to heal, to hope, and to build something lasting for my children and the generations to come. Each piece I create holds part of that story—layers of loss, love, faith, and restoration. My work is rooted in the places I’ve lived, the people I love, and the God who has carried me through.
